The last few months of 2012 were very busy, so I did not get a chance to do more blogging. I completed four more classes and have just one more semester left. At BizzyWeb we went live with a few sites, and began work on others. We had a very tight deadline for the Fantasia Salon site so that they could have their new site completed for their 50th anniversary. Another site we completed was for MN Home Rental, and had to learn quite a bit about Sales Force to work the Gravity Forms we set up, but we got them to work. We have a few sites that are getting close to go-live in the month of January.
This was a crazy week as one of our clients asked if we could put together a smaller site based on one of their newest services. The crazy part is that they wanted it done by Friday morning the 24th and we were starting it on Monday. Between myself and Andy (our other developer) we got the design implemented, the content (including images), and SEO’d the pages. We got the work done and the site migrated from the development server to the live server by Thursday night. We heard some very good feedback over the weekend with just a few minor changes to be made. For me the added craziness was that I started three classes as well. The site we worked on: http://nuimagehairtransplant.ca/
After a long time I have finally have a design for my personal/professional website. There will still be some tweaking but overall I am happy with the new design. This site features my resume (still being worked on), my web portfolio that lists all the sites that I have implemented the design on, and my blog. I am going to try and blog more often, especially since I need to for my internship.
